MPF denounces Neymar and his father for tax evasion and forgery of documents

The Federal Prosecutor in Santos broke confidentiality and issued complaints against Neymar and his father in the early evening of Tuesday (2). According to the MPF, the two will have to answer for forgery and tax evasion between the years 2006 and 2013.

In addition to the player and the father, the MPF also cites Alexander Rosell and Josep Maria Bartomeu Feliu Forest, former and current president of Barcelona, respectively. After the complaint, the Court will assess the request of MP and decide whether to follow the process, which can yield sentences of up to five years to the accused.

The complaints of the MPF are not related to the processes running on the Spanish judiciary, which led Neymar and his father to testify in Madrid on Tuesday, related to corruption between individuals.
